Start Here is a companion piece to Lori Joiner’s popular book, Discipling Women.

With over twenty years of ministry experience, Lori knows discipleship-and in Start Here, she takes us through six foundational lessons every follower of Christ needs to know, which can be used as content for a small group Bible study, discipleship relationships, and for grounding new and young believers in Christ.

Each lesson has a central gospel passage, pitfalls to avoid, discussion questions, a place to journal, and action steps for the next week. It also includes resources on how to spend time with God personally and plan an effective small group bible study.

About the Author

Lori Joiner is a popular speaker and Bible teacher both inside and outside of Cru. She has a special place in her heart to see women grow in Christ through the ministry of discipleship. In her first book, Discipling Women, Lori dealt with some of the more pressing issues women face. In Start Here, Lori turns to those topics that are most foundational. Lori and her husband, Allen, have two children and live in Texas.
