Facing conscription, eighteen-year-old Tom Ryan is conflicted about the morality of the Vietnam War. To avoid becoming an infantryman, he enlists as a corpsman in the Marines, motivated by a desire to serve Jesus by helping the wounded.
Two weeks after landing in Vietnam, Ryan has his first taste of battle in the Tet Offensive. Surrounded by danger, will his faith in God withstand this nightmare of death and destruction?
And, when a surprise attack hits, will he compromise his principles in order to survive?
