Rooted

The church is filled with Christians who love Jesus and have a desire to live a Christ-centred life, but who don’t always feel transformed by the gospel. To solve this, it is tempting to search for silver-bullet solutions or formulas that will help us really feel transformed. However, this change doesn’t come from new methods or formulas or five-step plans. It happens when the truths of the gospel penetrate the deepest recesses of our souls. The deeper the truths of the gospel are rooted within us, the more we are transformed.
